The Best Hen Party Activity in London
So, you've been handed the job of planning the hen do. Congratulations (and good luck)! Between the group chat, the budget and the bride's wish list, finding a fun hen party activity in London, that is affordable and fun for everyone, can feel like a lot.
The tricky part is that most hen groups are a real mix. School friends, uni friends, colleagues, sisters, mums and future in-laws, some of whom may be meeting for the first time. You need something that gets everyone chatting, doesn't leave anyone out and still feels like a proper celebration.
That's exactly where our sip and paint workshops come in.
Why sip and paint works so well for a hen do
- Everyone can join in. No art skills needed. Our artists guide you step by step, so it doesn't matter if you haven't painted since school.
- It's a great icebreaker. It's easy to chat while you paint, and comparing canvases always gets people laughing.
- It's relaxed. Not every hen wants an assault course or a late night. Sip and paint is fun without being full-on.
- You get a keepsake. Everyone goes home with a painting to remember the day by.
- It fits into a bigger plan. Two hours with us slots neatly into a day or weekend of celebrations.
What's included in our hen parties?
Every Brush & Bubbles hen party includes:
- A two-hour private session in our Covent Garden studio
- A welcome drink on arrival, with non-alcoholic options available
- All your art materials
- Easy, step-by-step guidance from one of our friendly artists
- A choice of painting from our portfolio, or a custom design
- Photo and video keepsakes of the celebration
- Your finished canvas to take home
Make the bride the star of the show
Want to make it extra special? Ask us about our ‘Paint the Bride’ (or Groom) sessions. It's a brilliant way to put the guest of honour at the centre of the fun and it guarantees plenty of giggles.
If you've got something else in mind, just let us know. We can work with you to create a custom design that fits your theme.
A private studio in the heart of Covent Garden
Our pastel studio is tucked down Goodwin's Court, a little gas-lit alley in Covent Garden. It's around a five-minute walk from Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Charing Cross stations, which makes it easy for guests travelling in from all over London and beyond.
It also means the rest of your day is right on the doorstep. Grab lunch before your session, or head into Soho, Seven Dials or Chinatown for dinner and drinks afterwards. Your hen will have painted a masterpiece and be ready to party.
How many people can come?
We can host hen parties of any size. If there are only a few of you, you might like to join one of our public workshops instead, which can be a fun way to celebrate without booking a private session.
How to book your hen party
Planning a hen should be fun, not stressful, so we've kept it simple:
- Get in touch. Tell us about your bride, your theme and your group.
- Get our info pack. Pop your details in on our hen party page and we'll send you our full info pack, with packages, pricing and everything you need.
- Come and paint! Turn up, grab your welcome drink and let our artists take care of the rest.
- Take home your masterpiece. Every guest leaves with their own canvas.
