Goodwin's Court is a charming little alley in Covent Garden, running alongside New Row between St Martin's Lane and Bedfordbury. 

Harry Potter fans might like to know that it's rumoured to have inspired Diagon Alley. It's also where you'll find us!

Getting in is easy. The Bedfordbury end is step-free, while the St Martin's Lane end has two steps.

Once you're in the alley, our signs will point you to our door. We're up two flights of stairs, so aim to arrive about ten minutes before your workshop starts. That leaves time to get your coat off, grab your bubbles and settle in.

We're an easy walk from Trafalgar Square as well as Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Charing Cross stations. There’s more on getting here below.

Looking for sip & paint near Leicester Square? You've found it! Three stations are around a five-minute walk from our studio, so getting here is the easy bit.

By Tube

Leicester Square (Piccadilly and Northern lines): Head along Cranbourn Street to St Martin's Lane and turn right. The entrance to Goodwin's Court is on your left, between numbers 55 and 56.

Covent Garden (Piccadilly line): Walk along Long Acre and turn left down Garrick Street. At the bottom, carry on into Bedfordbury, and you'll find the entrance on your right, between numbers 23 and 24.

Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo lines): Make your way up to Trafalgar Square and walk north along St Martin's Lane. Goodwin's Court is on your right.

By Train

Heading in from outside London? Charing Cross mainline station is about five minutes away, which makes it the easiest option if you're coming in by train.

• From Charing Cross: Come out onto the Strand and head left towards Trafalgar Square. Walk up St Martin's Lane, past St Martin-in-the-Fields church, and Goodwin's Court is on your right, between numbers 55 and 56.
• From Waterloo: Cross the river on the Golden Jubilee footbridges, which bring you out right by Embankment and Charing Cross, then follow the directions above. It's a lovely walk, with views along the Thames.

One of the best things about our studio is what's right outside. Covent Garden Market, Trafalgar Square, Soho and the rest of the West End are all a short walk away, so a workshop slots easily into a day or night out in London. The best part? You don’t need any painting experience to join in! Here are a few ideas that we’ve planned around our different workshop times to get you started.

Weekend Daytime
Saturday 11am to 1pm, 2.30pm to 4.30pm or Sunday 12pm to 2pm

Browse the shops and stalls around Covent Garden Market and the Piazza, or pop into the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square, then come and paint. Or paint first and explore afterwards, canvas in hand.

Saturday Night
Saturday 6pm to 8pm

Start your evening with a paintbrush and a glass of bubbles, then head into Soho, Seven Dials or Chinatown for dinner and drinks.

After Work
Monday to Friday, 7pm to 9pm

Swap the usual after-work drinks for something a bit more creative, then grab a late bite nearby. There's no shortage of places to eat in Covent Garden!
