We're Tiff & Lara, two friends who met at an acting audition, dreamed up Brush & Bubbles over a bottle of Prosecco, and somehow turned it into London's favourite sip & paint studio. Here's how it all happened...
Our story
Hey! We're Tiff & Lara...
We are the founders of Brush & Bubbles. Before starting the company, we were both chasing our acting dreams and our paths crossed at a screen test in Liverpool. We were auditioning for the same role and afterwards we got the train back to London together.
We chatted the ENTIRE journey and instantly became good friends - we felt like we’d known each other forever! One evening, we met up for dinner and had a few glasses of prosecco. The fizz must’ve worked its magic, as by the end of the evening we’d come up with a crazy plan to start a business together.. And the rest, as they say, is history!
When we founded Brush and Bubbles in 2017, we had no idea of all the amazing things that were yet to come! We are so passionate about what we do and every time we sell a ticket or receive positive feedback from one of our guests, we can't help but do a little happy dance! It brings us immense joy to know that we are helping to create a community where people can come together and unleash their inner artist.
In 2024 we opened our very own art studio, right in the heart of Covent Garden, which is an absolutely incredible milestone for B&B, and something we have been dreaming of for YEARS!! We are a very small company with a very big heart, dedicated to making art enjoyable for all.

Our journey
The Story So Far...
This is us on the day we met! We'd both made it into the final five for an acting role and were heading home from the audition. Even though we'd only known each other for a few hours, we spent the entire three-hour train journey chatting, laughing and celebrating with a glass of bubbles. Looking back, it feels like the very beginning of the Brush & Bubbles story...
The idea for Brush & Bubbles was born over a bottle of bubbles, and before we knew it, we were setting up our very first event. Looking back, we had no idea what we were doing, but we couldn't have been more excited. Seeing those blank canvases all lined up for the very first time felt sooo magical.
By 2018, we were taking Brush & Bubbles on the road, running workshops in Cardiff, Manchester, Bristol and beyond. We met so many wonderful people along the way and started growing our little team of artists too.
There was no big office or fancy setup behind Brush & Bubbles - just the two of us working away in coffee shops, on trains and at our kitchen tables. Most of our time was spent planning events, replying to emails and figuring things out as we went along!
Like many small businesses, we had to adapt quickly when Covid hit. We created our own DIY art kits, packed thousands of them by hand in our warehouse, and watched as people across the UK turned to painting during lockdown. It was amazing to see our community continue to grow, even while we were all apart.
After seeing how much people loved painting at home, we launched our YouTube channel and started filming tons of free painting tutorials. We loved helping people relax, switch off and enjoy a moment of creativity.
As Brush & Bubbles continued to grow, we found ourselves being invited onto panels and podcasts to share our story. After spending so much time apart during Covid, people were craving opportunities to get together again, and it was wonderful to see our workshops filled with creativity, laughter and connection.
We got the keys to our very own studio in Covent Garden. We spent months transforming a plain white office space into the dreamy pastel art studio you see today, choosing every paint colour, piece of furniture and finishing touch ourselves. Seeing it all come together was one of our proudest moments.
After months of designing, decorating and overcoming more than a few challenges along the way, we finally opened the doors to our Covent Garden studio! Seeing the space come to life with painters for the very first time was a moment we'll never forget.
Our dream studio had become everything we'd hoped it would be - a place where people could switch off, get creative and make memories together. With more workshops, private events and celebrations than ever before, it was amazing to see the space buzzing with creativity every week.
And we're only just getting started! With exciting plans for the future, an incredible team around us and thousands of wonderful guests joining us each year, we can't wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
